The Virtus Oceania Asia Games 2022 (OA Games 2022) is an elite multi-sport competition for athletes with intellectual impairment that will take place in Brisbane, Australia from 5 – 11 November 2022. As the first Virtus Regional Games for the Oceania Asia area, this is a historic occasion. The Australian Federal Government, Queensland State Government, and Brisbane City Council are supporting Sport Inclusion Australia (SIA), a Virtus Australia member organisation that is organising the OA Games 2022.
Up to 1,000 competitors in the 12 sports - Para Athletics (Paralympic Classification Opportunity), Badminton (Demonstration Sport), Basketball, Cycling, Judo, Rowing, Para Sailing (Para Sailing International Championship), Para Swimming (Paralympic Classification Opportunity), Para Table Tennis (Paralympic Classification Opportunity), Taekwondo, Tennis, and Triathlon (Demonstration Sport) - will come from Asia, the Pacific, and New Zealand.
Paralympic Council Malaysia (PCM) in collaboration with National Sports Council (MSN) will send our Malaysian Para Contingent to the Games. 19 athletes and officials will compete in 3 types of sports, namely Para Athletics, Para Table Tennis and Para Swimming.

The Malaysian Para Contingent is getting ready for the parade at the Virtus Oceania Asia Games Brisbane 2022's Opening Ceremony.
DEPARTURE

Malaysian Para Contingent departs at KLIA. A total of 19 athletes and officials will compete in 3 types of para-sports, namely Para Athletics, Para Swimming and Para Table Tennis. Virtus Oceania Asia Games 2022, meant for athletes with Intellectual Impairments shall be held from 5 to 11 November 2022 in Brisbane, Australia.

The Virtus Oceania Asia Games 2022 (OA Games 2022) is an international multi-sport event in the Oceania Asia region for elite athletes with an intellectual impairment. It is being held 5-11 November 2022 in Brisbane, Australia delivered by Sport Inclusion Australia.
Paralympic Council of Malaysia & National Sports Council, with the support of Ministry of Youth and Sports, will send our Malaysian Para Contingent to the Games. A total of 19 athletes and officials will compete in 3 types of sports, namely Para Athletics, Para Swimming and Para Table Tennis.
Mandate Presentation & Administrative Briefing Ceremony of the Games was held on Tuesday, 25 October 2022 at Seminar Room, Paralympic Sports Center of Excellence Malaysia, Kampong Pandan. The ceremony was officiated by En Sofian Hamzah, Director of Paralympic Sports Division National Sports Council (MSN) and Dato' Sri Megat D. Shahriman Bin Dato' Zaharudin, President, Paralympic Council of Malaysia.
