As the host town for the Netherlands and Malaysia for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Miyoshi Town has further strengthened its ties with these two countries. On 25 December 2021, Miyoshi held a "Host Town Memories Concert" to commemorate this outstanding effort with the community. The concert complemented with music from the Olympic and Paralympic Games, as well as a visual display of the Games' activities and two countries' international exchange programmes.
The performance was broadcast live via zoom and included President Dato' Sri Megat D Shahriman, Secretary-General Dato' Subramaniam Raman of the Paralympic Council of Malaysia, and our medalists.

Our National Paralympians have once again done Malaysia proud by achieving their best-ever performance yet at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games by winning 3 Gold Medals and 2 Silver Medals.
